LONG STORY SHORT(ISH)

I thought sneaking books into my bed at 3 a.m. and chasing a punchline
in every school essay was just a harmless little fling with words.
Who knew it would turn into a long-term commitment?

Definitely not me. But my grandma did.

After getting my Marketing degree and working in the field for a while, I realized I didn’t want to just see campaigns. I wanted to make them. So I crossed over to the dark side (aka the fun side) and jumped into the wild world of advertising. That’s when I joined Miami Ad School to become a Creative Copywriter.

Since then, I’ve been taking words and ideas across borders, time zones, and cultures.
From Mexico down to São Paulo, up to the U.S., and all the way to Tokyo… which wasn’t just a creative challenge, but a personal turning point.

Japan was the place where I didn’t understand anything, and somehow, understood everything.
It showed me that the wrong train might take you to the right place.
That not knowing what you ordered might turn into the best meal.
That feeling scared is the best reason to go for it.
That adults can still be wide-eyed kids.
And that nothing compares to finally seeing, right before your eyes, what you once only imagined.

That feeling? That’s exactly what I love most about advertising. Turning ideas into something real.

Unexpected truths, bold ideas, late nights fueled by curiosity and the Nespresso machine in my room.

All wrapped in a good headline (or 37 drafts of one),
powered by a girl who still sneaks books into her bed at 3 a.m.

The only question left is…
what will my next plot twist be?

She always said I’d be a writer someday.
I used to laugh. Joke’s on me.
